Project Summary
The Choctaw Nation Regional Medical Clinic is a two-story, state-of-the-art facility that provides a wide range of medical services to the Choctaw Nation. The design of this center was inspired by the Choctaw history, culture, and language. It creates a place of healing that honors the tribe’s heritage. Services include behavioral health, dental, laboratory, diagnostic imaging, pediatrics, primary care, urgent care, specialty care, physical therapy, pharmacy, speech therapy, respiratory therapy, audiology, geriatric care, community health nursing, Choctaw Referred Care, and outpatient surgery. The exterior design features a Choctaw Blend brick created exclusively for the Choctaw Nation by the ACME Brick Company of Fort Smith. The facility achieved LEED® Silver certification and incorporates sustainable features such as a geothermal heating and cooling system.
